Most recently, I'm applying my prior experience in human-centered design with qualitative and quantitative methods at NASA Langley Research Center as the Lead Design Facilitator. I'm constantly introducing multi-disciplinary teams to the world of design, using methods that may be unfamiliar but are often immediately effective. I'm collaborating with a variety of stakeholders - agency leadership, business planning, subject matter experts (read: space LiDAR, additive manufacturing for aerospace parts, advanced air mobility, impact testing, Mars instrumentation)... truly some of the greatest minds I've ever encountered.
Here's our design lab's site: https://eds.larc.nasa.gov/
Led by Mark Shelhamer (former NASA Chief Scientsit for Human Research and sensorimotor adaptation extraordinaire), I focused on how human resiliency might be examined in spaceflight situations. Reviewing and translating proven methods from other industries for an aerospace specific context, I collaborated with engineers, academics, medical practitioners, and anthropologists to advance space medicine research.

Under the guidance of Emily Anderson at Johns Hopkins University, I was part of a multi-disciplinary team uncovering the history of the Peabody Cast Collection and its place in the city of Baltimore. I focused on how accessible the Peabody Institute was in its mission to be a cultural beacon for the public. In my work, I analyzed transportation networks and the various communities of Baltimore at the time.
